However, for many young learners from underprivileged backgrounds, the journey to knowledge is obstructed by the barrier of poor eyesight.
Today, we salute of our esteemed partner, World Vision Optics (WVO), whose unwavering dedication to the cause of accessible eye care has illuminated the path to education for countless children.
On April 24th, 2024, we had the privilege of witnessing this transformative impact firsthand at SK Pantai a rural school located outside Seremban City. Through our joint efforts, we conducted comprehensive eye checks for 370 eager students, unveiling hidden challenges that hindered their academic pursuits. Among them, 10 bright souls from financially constrained families faced the daunting reality of poor eyesight. Yet, thanks to the compassionate support of WVO, these resilient youngsters now possess a vital tool for success: a pair of free spectacles.
