We are thrilled to share the heartwarming success of our recent vision project in collaboration with our strategic partner, World Vision Optics (WVO). On the 8th of November, 2023, a ray of hope shone on the students of SMK Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Shamsudin Nain, Negeri Sembilan, as we conducted a free eye check for 250 young minds.
At Book Aid Asia and WVO, we believe in the power of education and the difference it can make in a child's life. We understand that for some underprivileged students, a clear vision is the first step towards unlocking their full potential. This project was born out of our unwavering commitment to provide every child with an equal opportunity to excel in their studies.
In our pursuit to ensure no child is left behind, we provided a gift of a pair of spectacles to 10 deserving underprivileged students. The smiles on their faces when they put on their new glasses were truly priceless. These spectacles will not only help them see the world more clearly but also open doors to a brighter future.
