Book Aid Asia contribute stationeries and story books to Myanmar refugee school.

Book Aid Asia contributed school stationeries and story books to 40 children Myanmar refugee school in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The children aged between 3 to 10 years received the Christmas gift from Amelia C. Abdullah, the co-founder of Book Aid Asia.

It is a heartwarming gesture by our team especially during this festive season, that will bring numerous benefits to the children. Firstly, the school stationeries will equip the young learners with the essential tools they need for their education, enabling them to participate actively in their studies and develop their academic skills.

The writing books will provide a platform for the children to practice their writing and creativity, helping them to express their thoughts and emotions. This practice is essential for language development and communication skills, fostering confidence in their ability to communicate effectively.

The story books will open up a world of imagination and knowledge for these refugee children. Reading stories in their native language and exploring new ones in English will not only enhance their language proficiency but also introduce them to different cultures and perspectives. The excitement displayed by the children as they sang their traditional Myanmar songs to express gratitude reflects the joy and hope that this donation has brought to their lives. It can ignite a love for learning and provide a sense of normalcy and stability amid their challenging circumstances.

We hope, the donation of school stationeries, writing books, and story books will empower these young refugees with the tools and resources they need to embrace education and create a brighter future. By nurturing their academic growth and providing them with the gift of stories, Book Aid Asia has undoubtedly made a positive impact on the lives of these children, igniting a spark of hope and opportunity in their hearts.
