In a meaningful stride towards fostering a brighter future, Book Aid Asia, in collaboration with World Vision Optics (WVO), recently extended its community-based eye check initiative to SMK Seremban 2, a prominent secondary school nestled in Seremban. This visionary project not only aimed to identify eyesight issues among the students but also sought to make a lasting impact on the lives of underprivileged children struggling with vision impairments. On the 22nd of November 2023, the corridors of SMK Seremban 2 echoed with the footsteps of 1,100 students who eagerly participated in the comprehensive eye-check, a crucial step towards unlocking their full potential.
The collaboration with WVO reached beyond diagnostic measures, as the team generously provided free spectacles to 10 underprivileged students, a gesture that promises clearer vision and a brighter future.
